This documentary tells the story of a group of young Egyptian girls from a very conservative village in Upper Egypt who, despite family rejection, formed an all-female acting group. It’s an amazing film, I really felt like I was watching it, it’s compassionate, emotionally touching, and most of the time I felt like I was in it to some extent, it’s so touching! I can feel their struggles, their fears, their dreams, how hard it is to even dream about it, how bravely they follow their dreams, even though it’s too hard for them in their conservative and limited society… I really, REALLY like it! The singer’s voice made me cry just listening to it. The cast is so real, so authentic, I feel like I could easily meet them anywhere. I watched it once, but I’ll go to the cinema again and watch it. I really want to see something else with their participation.
