The world’s most famous superhero and comics’ most famous journalist navigate the pressures and complexities of balancing work, the law, and parenthood in today’s society. The pilot pays homage to “Action Comics” #1 (Superman’s debut) by featuring the hero’s original golden-era costume in live action for the first time.
Superman flies past the WB logo and transforms it into the DC Comics logo. Both logos are red and blue and are located on a Kent farm.
. Superman & Lois is a lot more fun than its fairly generic title suggests.
The series makes the most of the chemistry between Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, utilizing both characters and their romance in a way that Supergirl never could. The only thing we hope for this series is that it remains a balanced mix of genres, but not a soap opera like the others on the CW.
However, the first episode is really cute and this intense photography gives it a touch of Man of Steel mixed with Smallville.
