The first few episodes were so good that they had me glued to my seat, but since then they’ve stopped developing the plot, they keep going into these obscure side stories that are supposed to connect you to a specific character and form a deeper connection with them, but fails miserably at doing so. You can afford three filler episodes in a row in a 15-20 episode season, but when you go with a 10 episode per season plan and have half of it eaten up by filler sideshows, it gets downright boring.
My wife went from “OMG, a new episode of Silo is out, come on, you get the home theater ready, I’ll get the snacks ready” to “Hey, Silo is out, wanna watch it?” At this point, I’m not sure we’ll make it through the season, we’re one filler away from forgetting all about it.
