He’s smart
He’s lovable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas.
His son, David Zayas Jr., stands in for his father in some scenes because they look remarkably alike. Dexter has a large scar on his left side that is visible throughout the first season. Later, in season 2, the scar has moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.
Over the years, my eyes adjusted until the darkness became my world and I could see… Main Theme Written by Rolfe Kent Performed by Rolfe Kent. Absolutely brilliant.
The visual contrast between the darkness of Dexter’s secret life and the glitz of Miami adds an almost surreal quality. The character development is well worth the money, slowly revealing the background to see the development of Dexter’s sociopathic personality and his confusion with human behavior compared to his own. Dexter is an actor in his own life; his relationships with his coworkers and his personal life are well represented in the video media.
This is a dark work, but set in the strange world of life in Miami. The developers of this series should also check out the books by Andrew Vachss.
