Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win the team’s Fan of the Year competition, in a process judged by Fan Engagement Director Derrick. -after this year’s offering of romantic holiday-themed movies to watch from the comfort of your own home. The film was shot on location in historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like it all year round. The locations that served as the Higman family’s grocery store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ are also real-life family businesses.
Here you have one of the All Time Patriots fans. Who moved to BUCS when Brady and my man Gronk moved – that didn’t hurt. I lived in Rotonda West Florida at the time. I’m struggling to find anything I like about the Panthers.
But this is about a movie review. Come on Toooo Much – it’s a Hallmark movie. So why not the Chiefs. I thought it had just the right amount of fan stuff and a love story.
I enjoyed the story with the skating stuff, the cameos, and the Hallmark twists. I’m glad we don’t have to wait until the end of the movie to see the leads kiss for the first time. And you obviously didn’t know that the pillow thing was good luck or eating grilled chicken wings at the right time at your favorite sports bar. It brought back so many memories of my husband and I being sports fans in my family.
I can really understand the family attachment to that hat – I have one for my 16-0 T-shirt. I thought the movie was fun and well done.
